About Me

Welcome to Ali's Kitchen!                        


     This is the place where it all begins.  My kitchen is my salvation where I create all that inspires me.  Let it be from ingredients, cookbooks, chefs or ideas that I have created.,  I wish to share with you healthy dishes that will entice you, inspire you or simply provide eye candy.  

     I have worked as a private chef/caterer over the last ten years in the metropolitan area.  I believe in creating food that jumps off the plate using only the finest ingredients.  I am professionally trained, and have cooked with some of the finest chefs in Manhatten.  You will find my dishes to be natural and healthy due to my active lifestyle, and second career as an exercise specialist.  I have been a personal trainer for the past twenty-five years.  

     My goal in creating this blog is to bring some of my passion with food and healthy living into your house.  I want to inspire you, share with you some of my favorite ingredients, product or ingredient finds.  Also, I want to show you some of my travels that have led me to my inspiration.  I do all my own Photography with my Nikon D40 with various lenses and flashes.

     My cookbook collection extends well over three hundred books.  I add to this collection quite frequently, always keeping abreast of the latest, and the not so latest.  If I use a recipe from one of these cookbooks, I will provide you with the source.  As for my recipes, they are mine.  As simple as that.  I ask that you do not use them for any commercial use or your own personal blog.  That goes for the photography as well.  If you wish to advertise on my site, please feel free to contact me.
